Here is another great ploy for organic growers to protect irresistible, tender young plants this spring against damage caused by the deadly slug. Without having to resort to poisons and harmful chemicals those rows of succulent early vegetables, let alone the hostas in the flowerbeds, can be kept safe by using the Slug and Snail Trap. Best for the environment and best for birds and other wildlife.

The slug and snail trap is simply filled with a small amount of beer and salt and the mixture will attract slugs and snails within a 1.5m radius. It can trap up to 50 slugs and snails at a time and they can then be disposed of easily without any need for handling them. The trap is then reset to continue catching.

The traps are sunk at ground level to be unobtrusive and achieve best results when more than one trap is deployed before planting out.
