Forget the plastic bag, for this 100% biodegradable and home compostable bin liner is made from cornstarch and will fit any kitchen caddy up to 10 litres in capacity. When its full, simply take the whole package out to the compost heap or composter where the bag will break down into carbon dioxide and water and with its contents, become rich in nutrients ready for return to the soil. They contain no polyethylene yet the 25 bags in an easy dispense box, have the same physical characteristics as traditional plastics. As heat will affect their properties, only cold waste should be included and the bags will need changing every 3 – 4 days as they start to deteriorate when in contact with organic waste.
