Like a good old-fashioned compost heap, it remains airy and open to the elements but within the composter it is contained and restricted from spreading. With a good mix of green and brown organic waste, from the garden and the kitchen, it just needs turning regularly for you to have nutrient rich compost in no time.
Of a generous size, it is a sensible height at 70cm to make reaching in to turn it as easy as possible and it comes flat packed so that it can be sited exactly where it is most convenient. The kit is easy to assemble as it just slots together.
