Each planter holds approximately 40 litres of compost and will take 3 seed potatoes. Strongly made from woven waterproof fabric with re-enforced handles for moving the planters around they have drainage holes in the base to ensure even drainage. On a patio, balcony or small terrace they can be moved around to the most favourable position and at holiday time they can even move house so that they can be tended elsewhere.

For those wishing to grow your own veg these potato planters are perfect, as they can be used not just for potatoes but also other root vegetables, strawberries or even a chosen exotic specimen. Planting at intervals will create continuous home grown organic produce with little effort or time, or slugs and just give you a taste of that old fashioned flavour.

Seaweed fertiliser is suggested for feed and the single spike irrigation kit is suggested for each planter. Incorporating nutrigel in the compost at planting improves water retention and nutrient content.
