Trouble-free tomato cultivation is now within everyone's grasp. This breakthrough product means that plants - and not just tomatoes but chillies, peppers, cucumbers - will be fed and watered for at least 14 days without the need to lift a watering can - great for holidays. There is no need for pumps, electricity or mains water supply.

At the heart of the system is a valve which draws water from a reservoir into the tray section to feed the potted plants with water which is only absorbed by the plants as needed. The valve allows the water level to drain fully before refilling, imitating the natural 'flood and drain' process for optimum crop yields.

The Kit contents:

1 x 47 litre tank
1 x AQUAvalve
2 x 8.5 litre pots
1 x tray (with 6 holes in the top rim for cane supports)
irrigation pipe
'in line' water filter
root control discs

While the Kit is supplied with 2 pots, the system can be extended to feed up to 6 pots from one 47 litre container.

This system has yielded impressive results by imitating the natural 'flood and drain' watering process which produces optimum crop yields. Water is only absorbed by the plants as needed, with little evaporation.
