To give those seedlings and young plants the best possible start – this 2 in 1 sieve will produce the soil with the necessary space and air in which to establish the strong root systems for them to thrive.

An essential piece of potting shed equipment the sieve is highly practical. It is designed to give two grades of tilth. It is 12cm deep and has interchangeable screens to meet the gardeners’ needs in propagation and planting out. One screen has a 12mm hole size for sifting out stones, weeds and other garden debris, and the other has a 6mm hole size, for sifting compost to a fine tilth to give the ideal base.

Each screen is made from tough, galvanised woven wire. The frame is made from strong, re-cycled plastic.
