The use of copper to prevent damage by slugs is becoming increasingly popular among gardeners as it has been proved to be an effective deterrent that works and one that is less messy and more humane.

Attack by slugs, the scourge of all growers, that is fatal to young, tender seedlings and plants, choice hostas, and favourite specimens, can be controlled by using these handsome copper rings which slugs will not cross as it gives them an electronic reaction. They will not attempt to pass over this physical barrier when the rings, which are guaranteed to last a lifetime, are placed around precious plants.

This pack includes three large and three small rings, approximately 18cm and 10cm in diameter and a set of information and instructions. The rings are easily opened and closed for placing and removal and the large ones can be joined together if a bigger ring is needed. After a few weeks of exposure to the weather, especially rain, they take on a brown patina to blend comfortably into the garden.
