Slug Trap

Chemical free, poison free and environmentally friendly, this slug trap has won a number of ‘Best Buy’ commendations for clearing one of the gardener’s worst enemies out of the garden.

It is portable so you can move it from your hostas to your newly planted seedlings to wherever the attack is worse. Neat and discreet, the trap uses beer to attract the slugs away from the plants, luring them inside where they drown.

Inside is a base moulding of three wells and four funnelled access openings. A tight fitting lid ensures that the fumes from the beer generate quickly to get to work. It needs to be placed on a flat surface and is equally effective on patios and decking to protect pots and containers from invasion and to keep the slugs away from garden furniture.
