Westland's Slug Buster contains Metaldehyde and is a superior pellet that is meant to be used sparingly. It is rainproof, remaining active against slugs and snails for an extended period and is best scattered as a protective measure when sowing seeds and planting out vulnerable seedlings.

There is also an animal repellent in its formulation to ensure that pets and wildlife are not put at risk. Scatter the tiny rain resistant pellets when sowing the seeds.
