What the Victorians did for gardening, was to design a container for growing potatoes with a removable panel so that the vegetables could be harvested just as it was needed for the pot, without having to pull up the whole plant, so that potatoes were fresh from the ground, every time.

This attractive terracotta coloured planter is based on a traditional Victorian potato planter. It is made from strong polypropylene to give years of service, needing only to be rinsed off until it is needed next.

The planter will take approximately 80 litres of compost and just 5 seed potatoes for you to enjoy the freshest, tastiest crop ever.
