Cox's Orange Pippin is an eating apple that has it all. It has a wonderful crisp texture, tangy taste and it juices well. Cox's are also aromatic and keep well. The tree itself is strong growing and fairly upright and carries loads of snow white flowers in spring. As if all that was not enough Cox's Orange Pippins make great cider. It appears on any list of the greatest English eating apples.
Cox's is a mid-season flowering pollinator and this variety is self-fertile, although cross-pollination does tend to improve the crop.
