We sell the tree in 3 formats depending on the time of year & availability:
1BR = 1 year old maiden bare root tree sold from Nov to Spring. Approx 120 - 150cm tall. Bare roots will be wrapped in a bag.
2BR = 2 year old bare root tree sold from Nov to Spring. Approx 120 - 150cm tall. The tree will have been grown an extra year in our fields and benefits from a thicker trunk / root system and will be more likely to produce more impressive blossom this coming Spring.
9L = 2 year old tree that has spent approx 1 year growing in a poly pot ( polythene 9 litre bag ). Approx 120 - 150cm tall. The tree will benefit from a more developed root system and can be planted all year round. The tree will also haves a thicker trunk and will be more likely to produce more impressive blossom this Spring.
