This capillary matting helps keep plants watered by feeding a constant supply of moisture direct to the roots. It is ideal for watering greenhouse and indoor plants as it is economical, virtually automatic and saves a great deal of time and energy. Particularly useful during absences and holiday periods, this capillary matting is rot-proof, non-toxic, simple to use and can be easily cut to size.

To use, simply soak the matting and stand pots on its surface; for longer periods of time, place one end in a water source (such as a sink or bucket) and capillary action will cause the water to be drawn up the absorbent matting, keeping the base of the pot or seedling tray moist.
