If you are fed up with cats and dogs messing about in your favourite flowerbeds and borders, you might consider using these prickle strips to stop them. Simple to use, they are just placed on the ground; but effective- there is a mat of up right 'prickles' that will not harm any pet that walks on them - but does make it uncomfortable enough that they won't persist.

Coming in a strip of 2m long by 30cm, they have 12 x 5cm plastic fixing pegs that are integral to the molding (they can be cut out, rather like the parts of a model airfix plane).

The whole strip can be cut to size to fit round prize specimens or pots, and they require no maintenance when in place
